Summary:
Viola Johnson (Amanda Bynes) is in a real jam. Complications threaten her scheme to pose as her twin brother, Sebastian, and take his place at a new boarding school. She falls in love with her handsome roommate, Duke, who loves beautiful Olivia, who has fallen for Sebastian! As if that were not enough, Viola's twin returns from London ahead of schedule but has no idea that his sister has already replaced him on campus.

Review:
This movie is a much worth watching comedy. Certainly, one of a kind and very funny. TV seems to think so since it’s played quite often – but don’t let its over exposure diminish the fact that this is a genuinely good film.

I think of all Amanda Bynes’ roles, this is my favourite. She is not afraid of anything here, and goes for it. Equally, Channing Tatum’s role is one of my favourites of his as well. He’s so awkward and actually plays comedy well! You wouldn’t normally associate the genre with him – well, aside from “21 Jump Street”.

My favourite scene is the one in the restaurant when Duke is trying to chat up Olivia and he asks her in the most awkward manner possible “Do you like…cheese?” Fair enough, I was a lot younger when I first saw that scene, so my abundant laughter might have been to do with my youth, but I still crack a smile now. Another great moment is the tampon incident involving Duke finding one in Sebastian/Viola’s bag and to cover it up she instructs him it’s for nose bleeds.

The whole love-square I guess you could call it since there’s four of them involved, is hilariously complicated in itself – one of the aspects that makes this film great. I think actually as trailers go, this one uses this aspect of the story to great advantage.

In short – good comedy. I recommend.
