Review:
This is a great movie. I didn’t know what to expect after
watching the trailer, but it went up in my estimations while I was watching it.
Very entertaining with a different slant for the rom-com community.
Emma Stone is brilliant! She’s a fab actress in all her
movies that I’ve seen, but this one is one of her best in my opinion. Her character
is confident, sassy, and feisty, but all with a good heart at the end of the
day.
The script is great and very entertaining. The fact that Emma
Stone’s character kind of breaks the fourth wall through her video vlog as she
explains how she got into her racy predicament, keeps the story moving at a
good pace and brings us as the audience into the proceedings as well, helping to
keep our attention. And it is actually funny as well.
Other notable actresses that make an appearance are Lisa
Kudrow, Amanda Bynes and Aly Michalka - all with significant roles.
I highly recommend this film to anyone who hasn’t seen it. A+ (!)
